Intern at Cinemagrid in Ann Arbor
There are five specific departments that are currently in need of unpaid interns at our new office in Ann Arbor.
1. Development
2. Pre-Production
3. Production
4. Post-Production
5. Marketing & Distribution.
Focus will be placed based on what we think you are capable of handling.
This is a position of learning; however capabilities will determine initial responsibilities.
Wherever you get placed, you will not be making coffee or taking out the trash, nor will you be driving all over the city of Detroit picking up dry cleaning, you will be working on real projects.
We require a commitment of at least 8 hours a week.
Scheduling is flexible based on your availability and that of Cinemagrid’s needs.
An average 8-hour shift consists of spending 75% of the time (6 hours) working on a primary project and the remaining 25% (2 hours) devoted to your own personal project.
For example if you are attached to Pre-Production you might help us cast for 6 hours then work the remaining 2 hours scheduling your own film.
This is where Cinemagrid can assist you.
Who knows, if it’s any good we just might help you make it.
If you require this as a school internship please be able to provide the contact information for your adviser and all the necessary paperwork.
If interested please send a copy of your resume to cinemagrid@gmail.com with INTERN in the Subject Line. We will contact you to schedule an interview.
